This 90-minute workshop provides an overview of mindfulness in education, and provides participants with some easy-to-implement strategies to use with students. Although not ideal, this workshop can stand alone as a teacher professional development. We say this because we don't subscribe to the "one and done" professional development model. Most schools use this workshop to gauge interest in ongoing training courses or to gather a voluntary cohort to participate in the Everyday Mindfulness for Schools training.
